WELCOME TO OUÉD

Ouédraogo was the name given to the son of the Burkinabé equestrian warrior princess, Yennenga, and is now a last name shared by millions. Ouédraogo translates to ‘Stallion’ in the Burkinabé language of Mooré.

Ouéd takes inspiration from the majestic and powerful symbol of the Stallion. Ouéd is an emblem of the intersection between femininity and rebellion. Despite the world’s obsession with wanting to uncover Muslim women we are dedicated to motivating and inspiring Muslim women to be unapologetic in their hijab|niqab|jilbab.

We are 'UNAPOLOGETICALLY MODEST.'
